The whole world is all about the money, honour and glory have been long forgotten by nearly everyone or so I preceive. it is encouraging that championshuip clubs can get into the premiership and do well as opposed to going straight back down. I agree the champions league has introduced too much extra cash and this has distorted things somewhat, however the EPL has upped the money year on year and that is the most important thing for a top club, if u try and win that youll almost surely be qualifying, im pretty sure chelsea and liverpool were trying to win the league (you might include arsenal, i wouldnt). As for your villas and evertons fulhams man citys and tottenhams they are all about finishing as high as possible, maybe champions league maybe not. European football is another experience for a footballer, makes em better.
