By: Jim | January 30th, 20081) We got a point last night despite being battered (and missing a penalty). 0-0 at Ipswich is not to be sneezed at.

Don’t you secretly laugh at Ian Holloway for leaving to go to Leicester, considering their form since he’s arrived? That might be a reason to be cheerful.

Trouble is, looking at the signings he’s made and their very recent results, I think he’s starting to turn them round.
Tbh, I was never one of those “Ollie is a judas” types. I think he felt the Board had backtracked on their promises to go for it and when Milan came a-courting the temptation to have a real crack at the Prem with cash and infrastructure was irresistible. That’s football: that’s life.

I doubt it. We went there a couple of seasons ago with Taribo West - not sure we’d be that daft again. These high-profile but aging signings rarely pay off even to the extent that eg Barry Hayles did for us.
Where did you hear it - Rub of the Greens?
